What a horrible company. I had to transfer the V5 into my ex partners name as ANPR had picked up she was driving the car without tax, insurance and MOT. DVLA claimed as the car was in my name i was liable and advised me to put the V5 in her name. As soon as i did, she sold the car whilst there was still a financial agreement outstanding. I have spoken to the Police and they have asked for Close Brothers to contact them as the car belongs to them until the finance has been settled.Dispite numerous phone calls and crime reference numbers given they have still not done this. They are assisting an offender which in the UK is a criminal offence.
