If I could choose 0 I would. Close Brothers have been no help to my mum, making the past 2 years hell. She bought a car in good faith and within the first six months it broke down, due to serious discrepancies in the vehicle history, which were hidden by the seller. Due to close brothers being completely incompetent she has had to pay it to half way. Now this dodgy company are asking for £2,000 more just to give it back, despite not driving it in 2 years. This has caused serious financial distress and no one within the company is there to help. Everyone needs to know how little Close brothers think of their customers. Due to the way Close Brothers do “business” we aren’t left with many options. With the message from them being “it’s your fault it wasn’t maintained” despite heaps of evidence suggesting otherwise, both showing the previous owner hadn’t maintained, hidden miles and that the seller had mis-sold/mis-advertised the vehicle. With many of the documents provided being forged by the previous owner and the garage selling the vehicle. To any potential customers, please stay as far away from close brothers as possible.
