This company are terrible to deal with and have restrictions in place which are not in the terms and conditions. Make sure you use the FOS (Financial Ombudsman Service) as soon as you get their final response letter. It’s so easy to do and takes a couple of mins. As of 19th September,I have now logged my complaint with the FOS. My complaint is a miselling of a product along with hidden terms and conditions they impose but don’t put in writing. Part of my complaint was upheld about their staff being unprofessional within their complaints procedure but I’ve referred the mis selling to the FOS as if the complaint is upheld, they are likely to get a fine. The complaint relates to not being able to pay your account when your in a direct debit payment cycle. They simply prevent you from making any payment whatsoever. In the end, Alan Boswell who I used the insurance with calculated my figure, took payment and made it directly to them on my behalf. This company is very much a cowboy outfit. I thought the days of this had been and gone, clearly not!
