Elderly MIL cancelled her finance agreement with Close Bros within the cooling off period, but they have since taken payments they are not entitled to over several months totalling over £1k. I rang the company who admitted their error and promised a refund within 7 working days. That was two weeks ago and nothing has been received.On ringing again today, the company denies any cancelled contract and denies taking any funds. Absolutely outrageous.Complaint lodged. I only hope the company does the right thing and returns the money swiftly rather than making us go through lengthy legal proceedings. This is not the right way to treat elderly and vulnerable customers. Do NOT recommend, especially as I see from other reviews that they’ve done this to other people.
