No support or understanding.

When someone wrote my vehicle off I had out standing finance, I questioned if I could continue paying the agreed amount per month as opposed to the settlement figure, thousands and thousands of pounds, expected to just be paid at once…I explained I’m in no position to do so, then they wanted it over a 3 month period, no customer support or understanding. Also, I queried about retaining my vehicle (Van) again they said not until the settlement has been paid, so thanks a bunch Close Brothers, you’ve not only forced me to borrow more money but left me no choice but to get another vehicle as I need a van for work, not to mention, the ridiculous rates, fees applied when taking an agreement out.
