I purchased a car and used it for approximately two and a half months. During this period, a fault developed in the vehicle, and as it could not be repaired, I returned the car to the dealer.
At the time, the return process appeared to be straightforward. However, despite the vehicle being returned, my finance account was incorrectly kept active, and I received several calls stating that payments were overdue. I clearly explained both to the dealer and to the finance company that the vehicle had already been returned.
More than six months have now passed. This month, I received an email confirming that the vehicle no longer belongs to me. Despite this confirmation, the finance agreement is still showing as active in my online banking, which is negatively affecting my credit score.
I am extremely concerned about this situation and disappointed with the level of customer service. I do not understand how this matter is still remained unresolve. I don’t know how anyone could be that much confused.
