As an international student, I relied on the photos and online viewing provided, where the property was presented as high-spec. What I moved into was completely different and in a very poor condition.From the start, the property had ongoing and unacceptable issues:- Heating not working for a long period- No hot water completely at the start, then at times.- Broken toilet and repeated plumbing failures- Kitchen flooding on multiple occasions- No basic setup such as a proper place to eat- Poor cleanliness and lack of upkeep throughoutThese are not minor problems they made the property difficult to live in on a daily basis. Despite repeated issues, response times were slow and problems often took far too long to be resolved.On top of this, there was a lack of transparency around tenancy terms. The automatic renewal into another fixed period was not clearly communicated, which caused significant financial pressure and made it difficult to leave when planned.This experience has been extremely stressful, especially during an important academic period. It is not what was advertised, and not what a tenant should reasonably expect.If you are considering renting through this agency, don’t do it.I am currently exploring raising these concerns with the local council.I would not recommend this agency based on my experience.
