I have been a Cloudways affiliate for several years and referred users to their platform in the past.
One of the commissions in my affiliate dashboard (Sale ID: 741244) has been marked as "Approved" since November 2020.
Recently, I contacted Cloudways support to withdraw my affiliate balance, but I was informed that the commission cannot be disbursed because the referred user is no longer active and the payout threshold of $250 has not been reached.
What confuses me is that the commission has been showing as "Approved" in my dashboard for several years without any notification that it could not be withdrawn.
During the conversation with support, there also seemed to be some confusion regarding the email associated with my affiliate account and the email I used to contact support.
Additionally, the response time on chat and email was quite slow, which made it difficult to clarify the situation.
I hope the Cloudways team can review this case and provide a clear explanation regarding the approved commission.
