For instance, the sleeves on all the items I've purchased (around four dresses and one romper) are quite large and puffy, while the rest of the piece is fitted and snug. The combination of the heavy fabric and the oversized sleeves results in a bulky appearance, which isn't flattering for someone of my height, only 5'3”. It seems like these styles are primarily aimed at taller women, likely those who are 5'7” and above.
