Hello Lani (instructor at the Ottawa Barrhaven location) So where do I start? From the moment I entered the Pilates room to join the class, I did not feel welcome. I entered with a smile, I said Hello and all I saw was your back, you didn’t even replied back or look at me. Big lack of respect and enthusiasm. Then you started your class. You were giving instructions and it took me few seconds to understand what you were saying, you came to me, with a bad attitude and a tone I wouldn’t use on a toddler, you said put your hands there, then you rolled your eyes and continued your instructions to the group. I felt you were racist to me since I come from a different background. You were not giving that bad attitude and vibe to the rest of the class, only me. I decided to leave the class few minutes after it begun because I disliked your attitude and tone towards me. I have zero tolerance for disrespect and racism. I have been in many sports club and gym and I never felt the way I did in your class. I really felt I wasn’t welcome to the class and I know I was right and what I felt is racism. After doing some research about you, it took me few minutes to find out that I am not the only one complaining about your bad attitude. I’ve read online on different reviews that you are “the worst teacher”, you have a “bad attitude, that “you shouldn’t be allowed to teach” and the list goes on. And the list of negative comments about you will only get longer if you don’t make effort to correct your arrogance. You have no right to talk to people the way you did to me. I hope you understand the magnitude of having a bad attitude around clients and students…
