Garbage After seeing a video of someone raving…

After seeing a video of someone raving about this product, it gave my desperation son hope, that my dog's itching problems would be relieved...so I purchased a "bundle" of the product and in addition, the paste for my daughter. It was $80 total. I used the shampoo, powder and used the paste on a sore.It did absolutely nothing it advertised doing. When I contacted the company, they refused giving me a refund, even when I offered to send everything back. I have kept it in the closet because I couldn't accept that I wasted good money on garbage and the company couldn't care less about the customer. Just recently I through it all in the trash bin where it belongs. I suggest you don't bother wasting your money on their products and a company who won't make good on it when the customer realizes the product is garbage. That's my experience.

So disappointed

I read so many good reviews and hoped this was going to give my shihtzu some relief he is so uncomfortable and the licking is out of control. I tried a small test area on the back of his neck and thank God I did. He immediately started acting funny, pawing at his ears and rubbing his face around the floor. I immediately wiped him off with a cool cloth. Wasted money.

Heaven sent!!!

I was going out of my mind because my little dog was going out of her mind scratching. She would belly crawl on our asphalt driveway. She was so miserable! I tried everything I could find. And any home remedies I could think of. Even shots! I came across this product on FB. The reviews were impressive! None were bad that I read! I ordered the shampoo and powder. It arrived in 4 days. I immediately washed my dog in the shampoo. I dried her then applied the powder. In less than an hour, she smells good and she's completely stopped scratcing!!! The redness has disappeared! Thank you so much Coat Defense! I will never let these products run out! We will finally sleep tonight!

Coat Defense American Bulldog Nightmare

I read a ton of reviews and looked at pictures of bulldogs getting allergy relief. My American Bulldog- Hank has allergies and gets itchy, smelly and licks a lot particularly during summer. He gets steroid shots but he has other reactions to that so really wanted to try this. I used it and he smelled amazing and was not itchy. A few hours later I put the powder on. Within a couple of days, I noticed he was walking funny and was licking way more than normal. His underbelly was not just a little pink it was fire engine red and hurting so badly he barely allowed me to look at it!! I immediately got him in a cool bath and washed him with the ZYMOX he normally gets bathed in. Within a few hours he was getting better and by the next morning it was all cleared up. DUMB ME- I assumed he got into something outside sooooo this past Friday I bathed him in the coat defense shampoo and again applied the powder— SAME THING happened but this time I caught it in progress and before it turned fire engine red. I immediately hosed him down and washed him in the ZYMOX and within a few hours of getting the residue from the coat defense off he is already starting to clear up. What I don’t know is if its the powder or the shampoo or the combo of both. I guess the saying is true—- if its too good to be true it probably is…. My poor fellow paid the price for my bad descison - cause I mean if its on facebook it must to real/true right?? WRONG!!!!

My dog had a terrible reaction

My dog had a terrible reaction. I kept researching reviews but everyone said it was perfect. My dog started peeling terribly. Turn red and scabby and pussie. I had to discontinue.

Coat defense waste of money

I had read several reviews on coat defense before purchasing it fory dog ( as it is advertised for dogs and cats) I was so excited to see the results and give my pet the relief that he deserved. Unfortunately after receiving this product it caused red rash and blisters on his ears in the pits of his legs and on the underbody. I followed the instructions clearly after receiving the product and almost within minutes these areas started to become red and inflamed. There are several sites that have reviews on this product most of them claim how amazing it is on their horses almost all of the reviews that are noted to date are positive ones you are not able to see any of the negative reviews I'm not sure why but I feel it is very important for anybody to know if they have a bully breed or a dog with sensitive skin that this can happen after applying this product.I'm not saying it's going to happen to your pet I'm glad it's helped other people but my animal had a very serious reaction and I would never buy this product again I would never put my animal through the pain that this product caused him.

Great stuff but don't waste your money

I have been a customer for about 2 or 3 years now. I love the preventative powder, and so does my dog. I also buy the Clean shampoo for my dog. At $23 per bottle it's a bit on the pricey side. The powder comes in a small 6 oz shaker, like kitchen spices come in. The price for it has steadily grown higher and is now at $18 per bottle! There are never any coupons, discounts for frequent buyers, promo codes, discounts for buying in bulk, nothing. So, on a fixed income I just can't afford them anymore. That's why I started checking out the label and the ingredients. This stuff they are selling for $18 per 6 oz bottle is readily available at most supermarkets or online at a FRACTION of the cost! I ordered one POUND bags of the ingredients for under $11. With shipping, under $20. So for the price of one bottle, I can make 100 bottles! The stuff really works well, but come on! How can they sell this inexpensive, easy to fnd stuff at such a high cost? It costs pennies to make , yet they keep charging more and more for it. I decided I did not like this very much. People are struggling to afford food, they can't pay these prices. They shouldn't have to seeing how cheap it really is. So my opinion of the company is poor. The products are great, but buy all the stuff online & mix it up yourself. Baking soda, arrowroot powder, bentonite clay, cornstarch, cedarwood essential oil.. Firsr two ingredients available at Kroger everyday. Bentonite clay I got from apothecary.com (a whole pound for about $5), as well as cedarwood oil. Now I can afford to put more of this awesome concoction on my dog. Before, I was very skimpy with it. Who can afford $18 a bottle?! Not me, but now we have plenty of powder at very little cost. I suggest you do the same at home.
