Over one month has passed and I am still awaiting a refund that I am legally entitled to receive.
I was advised via email that my payment had been refunded; however, no funds were returned. The document provided was not a valid tax invoice, as it did not include a registered ABN, raising further concerns about the legitimacy of this business’s operations.
Following this, the company publicly responded to a prior review with false information, instructing me to contact my bank regarding a “pending transaction.” My bank has formally confirmed that no such transaction exists.
Both my bank and I have formally requested repayment of the full amount (in excess of $1,000). Despite this, the company has failed to comply and has continued to provide misleading and contradictory statements.
This matter has now been reported to NSW Fair Trading. Based on my experience, I strongly caution consumers against engaging with this business, as its conduct raises serious concerns regarding compliance with Australian Consumer Law.
