Overall my first experience has been good. So why not 5 stars?
The main issue was last-stretch delivery in France. According to the tracker, DB Schenker delivered the Lelit Bianca V3 I ordered to the dispatching center in Toulon. There the service and on-time delivery stopped, due to the simple reason they handed over the package to a local transport company who really didn’t seem to care whether they woukd be on time or not. After nearly 2 days of waiting, I had to contact Coffeefriend, then DB Schenker, and then the transporter to get the package delivered. This is not the first time with DB Schenker.
I also had it with a Sofitel bed that was transported by DB Schenker and then handed over to two guys with a rented van who came days later, with damaged goods I had to return.
This is a general problem in France and companies like Coffeefriend should be careful with which transporters they select.
