Cohabs is fantastic, but if there's a problem, that's when things go wrong.I lived with Cohabs for nine months. While I really liked my roommates and enjoyed the experience a lot (at least until problems arrived), I cannot recommend this company or the way they handle conflicts.Two of my roommates, who were designated as 'ambassadors', were apparently unhappy with me living in the house. They spoke to a Cohabs employee in an effort to prevent me from returning after the summer break. Because of their "ambassador "status and longer tenure in the house, I was simply offered a transfer to another house.This felt like an abuse of power. If two people out of a group of 20 don't get along with you and they're "ambassadors", they have the power. It created a clear divide between first-class and second-class tenants.I didn’t even get the chance to recount my side of the story. One of the two people involved is ten years older than me, which only added a sense of discomfort and power imbalance to the situation. To make matters worse, I’m still waiting for a response from the company about the situation.It was a very bad experience, I can´t recommend the company at this point. Go to another company and enjoy your experience. And above all, be a good person.
