I changed cash at Asda Hatherly Cheltenham. I tried to use my voucher that evening and was told by the sales assistant that I could not use it as they could not give me a change. She suggested I take it to the customer service desk, but I decided to use it on a different day. I went to Asda Cheltenham on 10/12/2023 to use it and was told I have to use it on the day; that is unclear as at the bottom of the receipt, it says, use it today in the store. Coinstar website recommends you use it on the day to avoid losing it or having it stolen; nowhere does it say, you MUST use it or lose it. I was ROBBED of /7.85.UPDATE. 16.07.2024.....I wrote to Coinstar and explained that ASDA of Cheltenham refused to honour my receipt because I had waited 14 days, and they said I should have used the voucher on the same day. This is only a recommendation by Coinstar; there is nowhere in the terms and conditions that states, your receipt is invalid if you dont spend the money on the same day. I wrote to Coinstar and I am very happy that they paid me my money.....Yes it says on your receipt. Use this today. That is only a prompt to prevent loss or theft.
