Going to state what happened to us when we used Coleman Allied movers . Caught the 1st driver going thru our plastic see thru containers taking my items out for his use.When the 2nd truck came and took the balance of belongings to there terminal in the Atlanta, Ga area they went thru our dressers, chest of drawers and boxes and did their shopping and when we had our belonging delivered and as we went thru the 60 boxes, containers and various dresser drawers we found that numerous items were stolen and replacement value is $4,200 On top of that the trailer that was a freight cargo trailer had a hole in the roof and we discovered this 9 days later when we received our belongings and some items were soaking wet and a total loss. Total water damage replacement was$3,137.71 and Coleman Allied refused to replace the items. On top of that we had a Police report showing and listing the damages along with the items the items that was damaged amounting to $1,979.93. Coleman Allied stated that you must list your stolen/damaged items the day of delivery. When you have a 53 ft trailer, 5 men unloading, upstairs, main level, basement and garage and have over 60 boxes and containers it is impossible to know what is stolen at that time and the driver kept count so we don't know if he really counted everything. According to the Federal law you have at least 6 months to check out and look for your belongings. This moving company caused over$9,317.64 in damages, stolen items and items that were soaked and and destroyed items, furniture broken apart.It was a total disaster how Coleman Allied handled our belongings, showing that they don't care about the customer and lack of fairness to compensate the customer for what there hired employees did.We regret ever moving with Coleman Allied and if you plan to move check out the complaints for the moving company that you are interested in. I hope you don't have the same experience we had. Good luck.
