Last year, I purchased annual travel insurance from a provider through their website, not realizing they subcontracted to another company. I had to cancel a flight due to my mother's passing, and while they initially assured me I was covered, after weeks of communication, they refused to pay compensation. Their demands for unattainable paperwork are inhumane. I urge anyone considering travel insurance to avoid this company. Their practices are unreasonable. Update: Despite their seemingly sympathetic responses, they continue to deny compensation.
