Unfortunately we needed to cancel our holiday 24 hours before flying due to our family dog becoming unwell and stopped eating, which let to her being put to sleep. Our insurance was via the Post Office with Collinson and after speaking to a representative from Collinson who had no empathy to our situation blankly said our dog did not qualify as a family member, he obviously doesn't have a dog. However, after seeing Yvonne's review from the 7th of April when her cat became unwell Collinson were happy to support and paid out on the insurance so perhaps cats qualify as family members and dogs dont!
