I have an annual travel insurance policy with Saga (Collinson Group) and have done for a few years. My friend who I was meant to be travelling with was advised by her doctor she could not travel. It was an expensive long distance trip we had planned for over 18 months. Although I was obviously fit to travel, I was unsure as to whether my policy would pay my claim but this was dealt with by the team in both an efficient and professional manner. The paperwork was easy to understand, any questions I had were answered by the saga team clearly. The claim was reviewed and paid in less than 10 days after I submitted all the documentation.
