My 85 year old father was convinced to cash out his entire IRA a year and a half ago. While he did receive the coins, he lost half his money in commissions. Now we are trying to figure out his RMD and learning the coins he was sold really don’t have a resale market. He was promised a buyback at the purchase price…. Tax savings, blah, blah, blah. We were told by the custodian that Colonial Metals is out of business and so the promised buyback is not possible. Awful company. HUGE scammers. Would like a class action lawsuit!
