Do not do business with this company. They cashed my $40,000 check then went dark. I never received my metal and the company doesn't answer calls or emails. I'm not the only senior citizen who has lost tens of thousands to Colonial Metals Group. Stay away! They will take your money!
I sent a money order that was cashed quickly, and I was assured my gold would arrive within a week or two. After an extended wait and numerous promises, I finally received the gold at a price significantly lower than when my payment was processed. I made several calls, only to be told that they would rectify the situation. The manager in charge of my account and a representative both assured me they would make it right. Unfortunately, it feels like my money was taken without any accountability. I intend to share my experience on social media and I have all the necessary documentation to support my claim. I urge others to think carefully before engaging with this service.
My 85 year old father was convinced to cash out his entire IRA a year and a half ago. While he did receive the coins, he lost half his money in commissions. Now we are trying to figure out his RMD and learning the coins he was sold really don’t have a resale market. He was promised a buyback at the purchase price…. Tax savings, blah, blah, blah. We were told by the custodian that Colonial Metals is out of business and so the promised buyback is not possible. Awful company. HUGE scammers. Would like a class action lawsuit!
I purchased gold and silver in August 2024. After doing this, I had difficulty contacting any of the contact numbers and persons i was given to talk to.... Today I am trying to call all the numbers...they are unavailable....numbers not in service. I believe CMG is a scam
I have made the biggest mistake of investing here. My money is stuck with them as they have refused me the access to it. Karma is real and will catch up soon.Getting to know about WayMine has been a dream come through. No more delays, and they do actually pay.
Colonial Metals Group took $100k of my money, and promised delivery, but indicated it would be delayed due to the rush of new orders they were processing. It is now 6 months later, and no metals in my account. And every phone number I had to people in the company is now out of service. Major Fraud here. Don't do any business with them .
My bank, Chase, would not allow me to wire money to Colonial Metals Group but they couldn't provide an explanation other than it was prohibited by the bank. I checked the website, looked at the reviews and found no indication they might be going under. They suggested I send a check which is what I did. I sent a $30K check to CMG. Once they processed the check, I placed my order on August 15 through Paul Gomez. I received a receipt and was told they were back logged due to high volume. I called every day for the past week, several different numbers, some disconnected. Main number is disconnected. Left several messages. Sounds like a fraud and they're out of business. I entered this transaction based on the company's association with Jeanine Pirro and Larry Kudlow. People of influence should be held accountable if they were paid for promoting the company.
Unfortunately, I too believed the CMG sales staff and on 28 FEB 2025 transferred my retirement invested IRA to CMG for the funding of a GOLD IRA. Promises were continually made regarding the slow movement to fund the IRA. Several sales people have left in order to preserve their professional integrity. Those I speak with today- it’s now mid-September 2025 - are courteous and provide the same empty promises. I have contacted CMG CEO and am waiting, waiting, waiting to hear from him…maybe today??? I have requested a refund of my investment since it’s clear CMG is unable to fulfill their contract with me. Yes, it would be a pleasure to revise this review upon the funding of my GOLD IRA!!!
It is September 12 2025 730AM I just received a phone call from a representative of Colonial Metals Group in Miami who physically threatened me for writing my review a few days ago concerning his company stealing money from a 91 year old disabled American military veteran. He threatened to meet me in Los Angeles and that he knows who I am. He would not tell me his name
