Checkout frustration after a quick visit

The hygienist appointment was satisfactory, but the checkout process left a bad impression. The receptionist unexpectedly added £20 for an airflow treatment I did not agree to. The hygienist tried to explain that I had opted for it previously and assumed I wanted it again. This was quite frustrating, especially after already paying £72 for the visit. Assumptions should not imply consent; I hope the team receives better training.
