We hosted our wedding party here over the weekend, and it was simply perfect from beginning to end. The atmosphere was inviting and warm, with a beautifully relaxed setting that made the entire celebration feel effortless. Every detail was meticulously planned, allowing us to enjoy the evening knowing everything was taken care of. The team made our celebration truly memorable. The staff were exceptional—calm, attentive, and highly professional. They seemed to anticipate our needs before we even expressed them, ensuring the evening flowed smoothly and that both we and our guests felt completely attended to. Their kindness and attention to detail fostered an atmosphere of ease and joy that we will cherish forever. A special mention goes to the chef, whose hot buffet was nothing short of outstanding. It was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and loved by every guest. People continued to rave about the deliciousness long after the plates were cleared. Later, the freshly made pizzas were the perfect addition, keeping the party's energy alive well into the night. The chef’s talent and creativity greatly enhanced the occasion, and we couldn't have asked for more. It’s rare to find a venue where the ambiance, setting, and team come together so harmoniously, but this place truly exceeded our expectations. We are an exclusive use wedding venue, set in acres of Hertfordshire countryside. A small, intimate team will look after you and assist in planning your day. Recently renovated, the main barn area services the whole day from the ceremony through to the evening reception. We have various types of accommodation available, with our converted stables to shepherd's huts (which were built on site by the proprietor).
We can accommodate up to 120 adult day guests, with capacity for a further 60 evening guests. Minimum adult guests numbers do apply for the wedding breakfast, fifty Sunday to Thursday and 70 on Fridays & Saturdays.
