Vodafone..on the line of we're not illegal but close to it.The type of company you don't want to be near are these tottering on the line of legal law and definitely crossing the moral line. I had my service blocked..i can't call or text my mum who is elderly because my phone bill is £111with a direct debit coming out in 2 days..hardly big bucks these days..could understand if it were £1,000 and if they did not have my bank details and a contract binding me by law to pay them back if i was to be naughty...the bill was due to calls i made last night ..straight away vodafone cut me off..no we'll give you a day to phone us and pay it just a straight immediate block..one text from them and no phone call on easter sunday and i can't call them to pay because they are not working as it's easter sunday...as it's bank holiday tomorrow maybe not then either. £111 when i am in my 40's talk about being treated like a child. And even better even though i had no data and no phone calls or texts today they'll still be charging me for the service today mmm a little trading standards? Or is vodafone so big now they are another that has the uk gov eating out of their hand. On the text they said easy we blocked you but go on the link and pay..link directs you to pay off the handset only. This is on top of the fact they were already on thin ice with me because i transferred from apple to samsung to get a phone..both apple and samsung make out this is easy as did vodafone...easy peesy..only no it wasn't because my whatsapp got wiped as well as other things and when i tried to call their shops you can't as you get to sit in a long queue on their customer service line and they couldn't rectify it so i lost my whatsapp contacts messages etc. No apologies. And this was after i had to drive to a shop and go in because customer service said i needed to go in the shop( the shops you can't phone to even make an apt) so then i got to spend hours in a shop to try and rectify it and stand in a queue waiting for people to buy phones in front of me... i want out of the contract they broke it not me...i have one thing i stick to in life , i do not have any interest in pursuing relationships with companies who are clearly naughty..they may be legal but that line in the uk now is getting very blurred and i'm noticing a lot of naughtiness happening with companies testing the moral and legal boundaries and vodafone are one of them..
