I’ve recently completed a 6 week CPD ‘ADI Nervous Drivers and the Drive Calm System’ course with Kev and Tracey Field from Confident Drivers. As a busy working ADI it was important to have the presentations recorded, firstly so I didn’t have to frantically write notes during the course, but also that when the inevitable missed session happened I could catch up online after the event! It’s been really beneficial for me to revisit some previously learned material, as well as picking up some fresh nuggets of information to widen my knowledge. I love the idea of ongoing support being offered too and plan to make use of this benefit in the future. I’d recommend this course to any ADI wishing to add to their knowledge in this area, enabling them to help a wider group of drivers. Thanks Kev and Tracey 🚗💨
I have learned so much over the last 6 weeks on this course and my most anxious learners are making huge progress and growing massively in confidence. I highly recommend this course for any instructor who has nervous learners, but even the most confident learners and instructors will gain an fascinating insight into the way the human brain works. I've gained so many tools and techniques which have given my lessons a new spark. Tracy and Kev present the information in a clear, concise way and are always on hand to explain further if required. The DCQ questionnaire is an absolute game-changer!
Confident Drivers is fantastic resource for both driving instructors and their students. I can not recommend Tracey and Kev high enough. The work they do is raising the standard of driver training and making the roads a safer place.
At the start I had difficulty with the downloads. With support from Tracey I was soon finding my way around. I found the sessions on anxiety and relaxation particularly the hypnosis link very helpful. I am now driving locally a couple of times a week.
