Surveyor came and was friendly, interested in the property and gave good comments on the condition and some of the work we had done during our ownership (18 months). We discussed other properties locally and there was positive comments from the surveyor on the condition of ours compared to others. Day after, valuation has came through and the house has been valued for tens of thousands less than the sale value, which isn't inline with properties in the area. This company has now left us in negative equity on our property, which is extremely difficult to do in normal circumstances.
