Great service, made us feel at ease, quick and efficient. The whole experience was good from making the appointment to an online video to know what to expect. The surveyor was pleasant and very courteous.
Sadly had a Connells surveyor instructed by the mortgage company who valued both properties at £25,000 lower than comparable sales in the area.
This isn't the first time I'd had this experience from Connells and the sales data they used was a different property type ignoring dwellings on the same street and same development instead electing to use older properties from a different area that is far less desirable.
Instructed a local RICS surveyor to carry out the same valuation who came up with a value £27,500 higher than Connells and who used the correct comparable sales data.
Poor experience, cannot recommend at all given their low ball figures. Considering reporting to RICS
Extreme poor for the fees. I request level two survey and already give the higher fees. but finally he replied cannot process level 2 and need extra top up fees to level 3 survey. I already check other survey firm can process level 2 for my property.
Mr Brown was very polite and professional. My only criticism was that we only received the pre video introduction. During this video it stated that the day before the visit we would get a notification of the estimated arrival time and a name. As this did not happen I needed to call the office to confirm. Apart from this, a good service. Would use yourselves of needed.
Mr Hearne arrived within the advised timeslot after contacting me to tell me he was on his way. He was friendly and courteous. He carried out the valuation as quickly as he could with no inconvenience to us. A much better experience than I was expecting
The valuation was done for the purposes of remortgaging, the surveyor valued the property 25K below its market value (based on 2 local agents) this caused a delay in our process.
Kept me Upto date with when he was going to arrive, rang me first thing, then again when he was 3 miles away, fantastic service, was very polite had his own ladder etc very courteous cannot fault Colin Lane 🙏👍
