Sadly had a Connells surveyor instructed by the mortgage company who valued both properties at £25,000 lower than comparable sales in the area.
This isn't the first time I'd had this experience from Connells and the sales data they used was a different property type ignoring dwellings on the same street and same development instead electing to use older properties from a different area that is far less desirable.
Instructed a local RICS surveyor to carry out the same valuation who came up with a value £27,500 higher than Connells and who used the correct comparable sales data.
Poor experience, cannot recommend at all given their low ball figures. Considering reporting to RICS
