By submitting your request to Conny you're granting them permission for reaching out to your landlord.ANSWER TO CONNY BELOW: Yes, I terminated the case for personal reasons (newborn) but I paid for ALL of the costs of the court proceedings (about 1400 Euros) as otherwise I could not terminate it.
