Continal started off well, but has faltered at the last stage. A change in my order in October left me with a significant credit balance. The order, finalized in September, had a credit exceeding £1,000. Continal assured me the refund would be automatic and processed within days. Four months later, I am still awaiting this repayment. Despite numerous phone calls - "someone will get back to you", no one has. Today, I was informed that the repayment is pending the 'decision' of the Managing Director. This is not his decision; it is my money as indicated on their last credit note. Their refusal to fulfill my refund is unacceptable. Perhaps a public complaint here might prevent a court notice from reaching the MD this week. This has been an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience.
