Exercise caution regarding hidden charges. There were several "supplier" fees added to the retail fees for obtaining search documents as part of the package. For instance, a water notice had a retail fee of $27.67, but an additional $238 supplier fee was included; the council rates notice cost only $28.05, yet an extra supplier fee of $81.20 was added. The ASIC retail fee was $14.95, with an additional supplier fee of $14.00. When I inquired about these supplier fees, it was stated that a third party (i.e., a subsidiary) was involved, which I assume is part of the same company operating under a different name. It’s merely a local Council or State Government website used to acquire these certificates! There’s a complete lack of transparency.
