I just wanted to know if it was legal to use Cookiebot on a German webpage.. This meaning the use of the cookiepopup. This has prior(2021) been ruled illegal due to data exchange with the US.. All i wanted to know is if their product is legal to use..This they cant tell me but want me to take contact to legal advise to check if its legal to use THIER product. Update: Got a call from cookiebot. That's really nice.. Would have been great if one could call them direct. Afterwards they send me a link with the legal controversy they had in Germany. They also provided a scripts that one can use to be sure that the bot is only transferring data in EU.Would have been nice if one could get this from the support from the beginning.
