I did my first shipment using this logistic service. I live in Los Angeles; California and I have a friend who lives in Colombia. Basically, I created a free account (it's a Spanish website. There's no English option unfortunately) at COORDINADORA USA to have a locker in Miami. You will get a locker # and you will post this # next to your name when shipping from your home address to Miami. I shipped my stuff with USPS to COORDINADORA USA in Miami and it took 4 days to arrive. COORDINADORA will check inside the box to make sure no illegal items be shipped to Colombia due to customs restrictions. My shipment contained 15 items in one box and COORDINADORA will ask the value for each item. If it's more than $200 USD then extra fees will apply. COORDINADORA will allow you select which items you want to ship to Colombia and then you will get an invoice. I selected all my items to ship at once. I shipped my package with USPS from LA to Miami and it took 4 days total. Then from Miami to Cali Colombia was 4 days in total as well. You will get a tracking number from COORDINADORA and you can check this from your account at their website. With the help of COORDINADORA, your shipment will be cleared from Colombian customs within 1-2 days instead of the 2 to 3 months delay when you ship directly with the regular U.S.A. mail services like USPS, UPS, or DHL. I know this from experience. Since my package was 24"x16"x6" with 11 pounds USPS charged me $55 from LA to Miami and then COORDINADORA charged me $45 from Miami to Cali COL. I think it's a reasonable price for a huge package. My friend did receive the package in good condition. I recommend this service to ship from USA to Colombia. They have a great communication as well. TIP: When creating an account, you will encounter to enter an ID# (that's for Colombian residents) but for us that live in USA just enter a random number because I did that and it worked. My friend in Colombia had no problems receiving the package considering it was under my name. You can always change the name in your account under the profile tab at their website. You can also change to a different Colombian address as well, if you're going to ship to multiple locations. I will be using this service often. Thanks, COORDINADORA USA.
