My mother's central heating stopped working on her 94th birthday, 24th January. Despite her being on the so called priority list all we could get from Corgi for 24 hours was that hopefully an engineer would pick up the call and they couldn't do any more as it was a weekend and there aren't as many engineers working. 23 hours later we got a call from an engineer saying he would be there in about 3 hours. When I explained that she had been sitting in the cold for over 24 hours, he rearranged his diary and came 30 minutes later. He was great, luckily, but had no knowledge that she was vulnerable. Corgi don't prioritise, my mum's call was put on Auto Allocate like all the other breakdowns, waiting for a local engineer. Shocking treatment of the elderly.
