I received a call and was told I had coverage, but how that could be true with a missed payment is beyond me. I was extremely frustrated. No explanation was provided, and I was promised a follow-up today, but there was no callback or clarification. I've been without insurance for a month now, and the stress of this situation has been overwhelming. The insurers were helpful once I finally reached them, but this process took hours. You hire a broker to alleviate the hassle, yet the service was severely lacking, and my insurance could have lapsed without my knowledge, forcing me to endure a waiting period again.
