Whilst initially it was difficult to contact Cornmarket, once l was in touch with Aaron at Cornmarket, l was very pleased with the information provided by him on my health insurance policy with Irish Life Health. I went through the Health Insurance process with a broker. A very helpful representative guided me through all the steps, and I paid the €60 fee. I was assured that everything was in order. This occurred on 28/11/2025, with the policy set to begin the next day. However, when I checked my bank app this week, no Direct Debit had been taken out. I spent a long time trying to reach the insurers and the broker. Eventually, I connected with the insurer, only to find that there was no record of my policy—I had no insurance. I emailed the broker and submitted a complaint form with my details on Wednesday and yesterday. I received a call and was told I had coverage, but how that could be true with a missed payment is beyond me. I was extremely frustrated. No explanation was provided, and I was promised a follow-up today, but there was no callback or clarification. I've been without insurance for a month now, and the stress of this situation has been overwhelming. The insurers were helpful once I finally reached them, but this process took hours. You hire a broker to alleviate the hassle, yet the service was severely lacking, and my insurance could have lapsed without my knowledge, forcing me to endure a waiting period again.
I have been unable to access my online account for over six months. I keep receiving the same message about it launching soon, but there has been no progress. I also haven't received any statements. I reached out via email, but it felt unproductive. I am now considering switching to a different provider.
