Following a bad review cosatto reached out to say they had a new member of staff give me incorrect information and wanted to rectify. I phoned them back and was led to believe a replacement car seat was being sent. This was not the case and after waiting in, a (incorrect) replacement buckle had been sent. When I rang again to see what was happening I was told they definitely wouldn't be sending a replacement car seat and would send the correct buckle to be replaced at home! Given the nature of the item I do not think adjustments and replacements parts on bits as essential to safety as the buckle should be carried out at home !
The car seat itself is part of a recall due to buckle failure. We didn't know this was the case until my toddler was unbuckled mid car journey
