We had an excellent guide (Bev) and driver (Steve) on our trip down the east coast of Canada. Bev gave us exactly the right amount of information but also gave us time to relax on the bus journeys. Steve was a very willing driver, learning all our names and also knew his way around really well. There were quite a few interesting places to visit included on the trip, Niagara Falls being the most impressive. We also went on most of the optional excursions and felt they were all worth the money. The only disappointing thing about the trip was the standard of hotels. I felt like I was in the basement at the one in Quebec with very few lights in the room. I know it is a Canadian way of life but I prefer to eat breakfast in the hotel at a leisurely pace but I didn’t feel this was possible in any of the hotels and the breakfast in Montreal was certainly not worth $22 + taxes. I would have rather paid more for the hotels and had ones with a higher star rating. On the whole we enjoyed our holiday and the opportunity to see so many of the sights in Eastern Canada.
