Unacceptable. I bought a bottle of Cover Girl foundation, and when I got it home and managed to peel off the outer label to reveal the label underneath, I discovered chemicals in the product that I don't want on my skin. I had lost my receipt so I couldn't return it to the drugstore, so I wrote to Coty in New York to ask for a refund of my $25. I explained my concern for the the chemicals. I received a reply that told me that this is par for the course, that these elements are in all beauty products, they are an industry standard. The woman who replied made no reference to my request for a refund; she basically said to suck it up and get with the program. These chemicals are NOT industry standard. I use Burt's Bees products and other chemical-free products. I wrote back to her asking again for a refund, and I got no reply. Coty lost a customer,
