I am writing this review to alert other users about the misleading billing practices of a platform. On November 29, I subscribed to their service for €22.99. During the process, I was asked for my ID and credit card details, which were presented as necessary for verification only. At no point was I clearly informed that an additional €56 fee would be charged. There was no explicit opt-in, no transparent disclosure, and no clear consent given for this amount. After submitting my details, €56 was charged to my card without warning, and my account was marked as ‘verified’ almost instantly. This indicates that the so-called ‘verification’ is merely an automatic paid upsell, not a genuine verification step. I contacted support right away to cancel this verification and request a refund. Despite acting promptly and never agreeing to this charge, my request was denied. I later sent a formal notice outlining that the charge was unauthorized, the pricing was not transparent, and charging a consumer without clear consent violates consumer protection laws. To date, I have not received a refund, and there has been no meaningful resolution. This appears to be a deliberate billing practice designed to mislead users into paying hidden fees under the guise of ‘verification.’ I strongly advise anyone considering this platform to read every screen carefully and be cautious with their payment details.
