I only wish I researched this company before. I wish I didn’t even have to give them one star! It’s the first time I ever bought clothing online and what an absolute scam. Firstly, they pretend to be “local” / London-based but items are coming from China. Nothing wrong with that per se, expect what you get unfortunately reinforces all the negative stereotypes about cheap, shoddy “made in China” goods. The clothing I received? It is difficult to describe how horrible and unwearable the dresses are!! I had ordered these items for a wedding and got stuck shopping the day before the event. To get a refund? Forget it! It appears this is a central hub for orders placed with the lowest skilled seamstresses or factories who then run up the items quickly with the cheapest fabrics that look and feel NOTHING like the quality presented in their catalogue. My guess is they are creating low paid jobs and ship goods knowing even if they’re returned they’re still going to make enough on the exchange, and even if you never order again they know the world is big enough for millions of people to get scammed once- they can just keep on going. It’s ridiculous this kind of scam Service is allowed to exist! To the people of quality in China: Couture Moda should be made to apologize to your nation. The only hope we have as consumers is to warn each other. I’ve warned off all my friends and family as their fake “brand” pops up everywhere when you search - so they obviously spend enough money on Google ads etc to make that happen which reveals how profitable overall their scam is; NOT how good their products are. Those business bros will call it a good business model BUT consumers beware! Their pictures LIE! Remember, it’s easy to make things look one way on the web. RUN FAR from this scam.
