I have now received 2 pairs of cargo pants from Couture Moda. The first pair was listed as Cotton blend, in fact it was 95% polyester and 5% elastase, I wasn’t able to return them as they had been in the sale, however they kindly offered me a voucher for the same amount with which I ordered another pair of cargo pants, but 100% linen this time. I confirmed when ordering that I was only ordering them as they were pure linen. They have just arrived and are 35% polyester and 65% cotton. Also unable to return them, but not a problem as I didn’t have to pay for them. What happened to the Trade Description Act. This seems to me to be illegal description of their clothes and I wonder how many more fall into this category. The person I dealt with was very friendly and helpful, but it appeared she had no control over the description of the clothes which is fraudulent. Both pairs of trousers will now be going to a charity shop.
