Regrettably, I should have read the reviews beforehand as the offer was quite misleading. After the initial meeting, the representative indicated that the goal was to complete the new website before the Black Friday sales to maximize Q4 traffic. They gave the impression of expertise and that I wouldn't need to repeat discussions, expecting the team to deliver a site with all the desired features. However, meeting efficiency could have been improved, such as sending videos instead of coordinating across time zones, which wasted the first month. I paid $3k with minimal progress. In the second month, after more delays, they provided a mock-up that was subpar, far from the initial design. I struggled to understand how it could take so long to prepare a site. By the end of the second month, I requested a refund due to lack of progress, but was charged $3k again with no work completed. When I finally received a date to review the second version, it was merely another mock-up with outdated product information. After two months, I had only two pages for $6k. They charged me again without showing the site. Two weeks before Christmas, after starting in September, I had to inform them I would seek another agency. The work finally progressed, but the process took too long. They showed zero hours logged in the first month despite charging for services, and 60 hours in the third month. Had I known this would take three months and cost $12k, I would have declined. I requested a refund for the first two months, which was declined as they adhere to a three-month retainer policy. If you're willing to pay $12k and wait three months for just a template, be aware that you'll still need to do a lot of the editing, and they may not respond if you're dissatisfied. The only positive was the project manager who did her best in a tough situation. I wish I had read the reviews first.
