I want to share my experience so other users can proceed cautiously.
After completing my subscription purchase, I was redirected to a celebratory page with confetti graphics and a large centered “ACTIVE” button. There was no clear indication that clicking this button would trigger another full annual subscription charge, and no price was visibly displayed next to the button. There was also no confirmation screen asking me to approve another annual payment.
Because I could not immediately find the download access, I reasonably believed the “ACTIVE” button was required to activate the subscription I had just purchased. After clicking it, I was charged for an additional full year.
In addition, I did not receive any clear confirmation emails about the subscription status or the additional renewal charge, which made the situation even more confusing.
I contacted customer support immediately to request a refund for the unintended second charge, but the refund was not granted. I also filed a dispute through PayPal, which was decided in the merchant’s favor.
I recommend that anyone using this platform carefully review every page before clicking any large action buttons or banners after checkout. Read all small print and double-check your billing settings, especially if you are paying through PayPal.
