Contrary to most of the reviews I had a generally good experience paying off a bill for Simplicity Energy I was contacted by text only which raised some concerns but after verifying they are a legitimate company I rang them back quoting the reference number.They were contacting me in relation to a balance on a simplicity account which had been closed It transpires my direct debits were cancelled before my final bill was paid, with no further correspondence from the supplier I had no idea. I logged into my account which was still accessible and confirmed the balance outstanding was legitimate and that no direct debits had gone out since. I had a conversation with Simon (I’ll keep his surname private) and paid the bill, no stress and he was very professional in dealing with my initial and follow up call
