Going under, failed product, failed customer care

I have wanted Aventus since smelling it some time ago at a local House of Fraser, then out of my price range it became an aspiration. As I became able to afford it, the opportunity came where my 6 month old son could buy it for me for my first Father’s Day gift - amazing. It was duly purchased coming through Dubai Airport Duty Free.Unfortunately, having now used it for 3 weeks, using 5-7 sprays across pulse points a clothes, I can say the item I purchased has zero projection (having asked colleagues and friends if they can smell anything on me to be told a flat ‘no’) and zero longevity (1-2 hours if I am lucky and my wife can’t smell it at all). I feel conned and after contacting Dubai Airport I would have to take it back there to be assessed so contacted Creed themselves. Now, I would think that Creed aspires to have a certain clientele at this significant price point. The support desk however has zero interest in helping the actual consumer, suggesting the “contract is with where you purchased, not us”. After reading the reviews on here just now I can only suggest that the company is getting ready to fold and is just extracting what it can before it does - product has failed, customer care has failed, prices have increased. My only remaining hope is that I may be able to save some others if they read this before purchasing, unlike me, and save their money from being wasted.
