I recently purchased two wine goblets from Cumbria Crystal and they arrived in a box absolutely filled with styrofoam packing peanuts. I was honestly quite shocked and very disappointed to see that the company hadn’t opted for the biodegradable version, which is widely available. In fact, I’m left with this horrible feeling that, by buying from them, I will be putting an entire garbage bag of non degradable plastics into the ocean. The packing peanuts literally fill an entire garbage bag - for two wine glasses!With the world as it currently is, companies have a responsibility to do better. I really hope they review their packaging policy.
