Referencing another review, this cruise lasted 27 days. I have traveled with the company 22 times and enjoyed Christmas cruises twice before. However, the service in the evening dining area was dreadful, taking 2 hours for three courses. The food was also lackluster. Don't trust the other reviews claiming the food was excellent; it's pre-cooked and merely reheated before serving. The buffet offered the same repetitive options at every meal. I've encountered better meals in workplace cafeterias. The quality has significantly declined. The company is overcharging cruisers for subpar food and pricey drinks. Where have the lobster, New York steak, rib eye, sirloin, lamb shanks, escargot, and frogs' legs gone that used to be standard? It may be better in premium dining, but I traveled standard class. They no longer even ask if you'd like pepper with your meals; another cost-cutting measure. The company has gone too far with cutbacks, and after 22 cruises, I may not return.
