This is most definitely a luxury cruise line. I recommend it for older adults, more calm and quiet guests, and elderly. While children are an option, this line is not really appropriate for them and the chaos/noise/need for activities and other kid/teen type needs don’t belong in this environment. It would only be disruptive. Activities and daily events are definitely centered for a calmer group with British interests and style being a primary theme. If you have a passion for David Suchet Poirot movies, then you know automatically that that is what Cunard is like. I’m 45, traveled solo. I love the luxury. I’m a disabled vet and don’t have a lot of money, but I was able to travel and thoroughly enjoy myself. My preferences and likes are what Cunard is so it suited me very well. Definitely invest in a trip with this cruise line if the above is what you like.
