The gym was lacking ventilation and when l reported the faulty air con to the Spa manager , he was rude and aggressive to me. I walked away as it was my first morning on the ship and the last thing l want on a cruise is aggressive confrontation.
I booked 5 days acupuncture treatment but on the second treatment, the Indian doctor inserted the needle on the sole of the feet to my nerve. I had pain with pins and needles the entire cruise and it lasted for another 2-3 weeks after the cruise. There was no aftercare for my injury and the doctor insisted l continue my acupuncture.Knowing the aggressive behaviour of the Spa Manager, l requested the Customer Service officer to accompany me to the Spa that l no longer want the treatment but the manager insisted l pay for the whole cost. At no time did the manager or the doctor offer any relief for my pain and discomfort.
I requested at the Britannia restaurant for a free gluten, salt, sugar, herbs, spices , oil free diet consisting of steamed chicken, cabbage and sushi plain rice. I was given contaminated food for the first week , so l stopped going. I went to the Food Court but it required me to washed the meat with hot water before eating. On the last day at 4 pm, the Maitre De rang my cabin and invited me to the last dinner which l declined. It showed the total lack of service at Cunard.
I have booked 3 cruises with Cunard for 2026/2027 and l informed Cunard l will cancel 2 and consider cancelling the third.
There has been major changes at Queen Anne. We had pay for shuttle buses and the Bright Lights Society (funky transexual club $45 ).
The crew looked miserable and lethargic . Unappealing vibes.
I am so glad that l no longer have to pay extortion amount of money for the lack of enjoyment. I just returned from another ship and though these days cruise ship has reduced activities, which l don’t mind but l need decent appetising food and a happy crew .
